Our Honeymoon Adventure in the Philippines

Finally, our honeymoon has begun! And where better to start our new chapter together than in the country where my beautiful wife was born…..the Philippines.

First Stop: Manila

Our journey started in the bustling capital city of Manila, where we spent two days soaking up history, culture, and great food. One of the highlights was our visit to Fort Santiago, a historical fortress rich with stories from the past. We spent time wandering around its ancient walls, exploring the nearby area, and feeling the deep sense of history that lives in every corner.

Venice Grand Canal Mall — A Touch of Italy in the Philippines

After that, we made our way to Venice Grand Canal Mall, a place that instantly transported us to Italy! We took a romantic gondola ride, complete with a singing gondolier serenading us with an Italian love song. It was magical……the perfect honeymoon moment. The mall itself is beautiful, with plenty of spots to eat, drink, and unwind.

A Night Out in Makati

Later, we met up with one of my wife’s old friends for a drink at Mistral Rooftop Bar in Makati. The city skyline at night was breathtaking, and the atmosphere was vibrant, a great mix of relaxation and celebration.

Family Time in General Santos City

The next day, we caught a flight to General Santos City, where we were warmly welcomed by my wife’s family. It was heartwarming to see her reunite with loved ones and to experience true Filipino hospitality firsthand.

This trip has only just begun, but it’s already been filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. The Philippines has so much beauty and warmth, both in its places and its people and I can’t wait to share more of our journey soon.
